Hate/Bias
Report a Hate/Bias Incident:
Online Reporting Form
Hate/bias incidents reported through this form are sent to both the UNM Police Department (crime assessment) and the Office of Equal Opportunity (civil rights violation assessment). This report allows the University of New Mexico to monitor and effectively respond to activity that negatively impacts the campus climate and the well-being of our community members. The University will protect your anonymity and confidentiality to the extent permitted by law; information may need to be shared among University personnel and offices in order to conduct a thorough investigation.

Office of Equal Opportunity
The above form is automatically sent to both UNMPD (UNM Police Dept.) and OEO (Office of Equal Opportunity). If you'd rather submit the report only to OEO, you can contact them directly via phone or email. OEO is the campus entity designated to ensure compliance with all University policies that apply to civil rights and state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination. OEO investigators take all concerns seriously, are neutral, and maintain confidentiality to the extent allowed by University policy.
